Darrell J.K. Wong

I was born and raised here on the Island of Oahu, State of Hawaii.  I attended the Kamehemeha Preparatory Schools and subsequently graduated from the Punahou High School Academy in 1977.  I earned both my undergraduate degree and Law School Degree from Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah.

As a Chinese / Hawaiian native born resident of the State of Hawaii I am very familiar with the cultures and attitudes of a multicultural community and the intricacies needed in navigating through a unique criminal justice system here in Hawaii.  Spending most of my years as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney I have become very familiar with the Judicial system not only from the perspective of a Prosecutor and a Criminal Defense Attorney, but from a Judge's perspective as well. With these varying perspectives of experiences, I feel I can effectively help you navigate through the sometimes very intricate and confusing network of the Criminal Justice System.
