Ted Eader

Granison “Ted” Eader is an experienced lawyer with a variety of skills. Prior to founding Conway Eader with Justin Conway, Ted worked primarily in intellectual property law, which is still a large part of his practice today. Ted’s experience in IP includes both registration and litigation, and he is a USPTO licensed patent attorney with a proven track record of securing rights in his client’s inventions. Ted also has broad experience in Federal Trademark registration, and has litigated patents, trademarks, and copyrights extensively. His litigation experience includes both defense and plaintiff’s cases in his native Northern District of Georgia in addition to several other US District Courts pro hac vice.

After founding Conway Eader, Ted’s mission became to protect the interests of individuals and small to medium sized businesses in a more general sense. In the roughly half a decade since the firm was founded, Ted has advised a wide variety of clients on a diversity of matters depending on their needs. Ted and Conway Eader now represent an amazing group of inventors, manufacturers, engineers, restaurants, bars, entertainers, studios, artists, nonprofits, and wide array of other businesses. With the help of the firm’s vast network of relationships with specialized co-counsel, Ted has managed to serve a varied base of clients that reflect the diversity of Atlanta and the surrounding region nicely.

As anyone who has met Ted will tell you, he is a talker. Whether it is explaining an issue to a client or hashing out a deal with opposing counsel, communication is Ted’s strong suit. His love for other people and the Atlanta community has led Ted to serve on the Advisory Board for Georgia Lawyers for the Arts and to participate in an assortment of pro bono representation. In the rare instance that Ted is not working, he enjoys physical exercise and working with dogs.
