Bryan Norton
I serve as a Deputy City Attorney with the Boise City Attorney's Office. I advise and train the officers and command staff of the Boise Police Department and City of Boise in employment law, criminal procedure, and criminal law, and am the primary legal advisor for the Office of Internal Affairs. I've been a regular guest lecturer at the University of Idaho College of Law and Idaho State University, and teach nationally on unmanned aerial vehicle (drone) regulations. Previously, I was a lobbyist for the Idaho Governor's Office of Drug Policy on legislative policy issues, was a legal extern for the Office of Idaho Governor C.L. "Butch" Otter, and a judicial extern for Idaho's Fourth Judicial District Court. Prior to law school, I served as a Police Sergeant, SWAT team leader, and Army Special Operations soldier in the 75th Ranger Regiment, and worked on classified intelligence programs for the U.S. Government. I’m an avid woodworker and a huge fan of the TV show The Office.
