Dennis S. Voorhees
As one of southern Idaho's most sought-after elder law and special needs planners, Dennis Voorhees has devised hundreds of plans to maximize the autonomy and independence of elders facing catastrophic long-term care expenses and assist persons with special needs preserve funding to achieve their quality of life goals. Dennis helps a diverse profile of clients - some with modest means, others with great means - achieve their estate planning for family and charitable purposes. He writes and lectures frequently on topics including use of trusts, special needs planning, elder law, estate planning, guardianships and conservatorships, Medicare Set-aside Arrangements, Qualified Settlement Funds, digital asset access planning. His affiliations with the Special Needs Alliance LLC, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, and the Idaho Trial Lawyers Association give him a vast array of resources to draw upon in aid of client planning. Dennis was born and raised in New Jersey, watching too much Gene Autry, Roy Rogers, and Gunsmoke on his parents' black-and-white Philco TV. He resolved at an early age to "go West" and did - at age 18! He's been "out West" ever since and can be seen most weekend mornings running across Twin Falls' majestic Perrine Bridge, savoring the great expanse!
