JuLyn M. Park
JuLyn Park is the managing partner of our San Francisco Bay Area Office and co-founded Lockhart Park, LLP with Bob Lockhart in 2012. Ms. Park has represented property owners, developers, redevelopment agencies, general contractors, subcontractors, manufacturers and material suppliers in a wide array of real estate, business and construction matters for more than 17 years. Ms. Park has litigated cases in both state and federal court and has successfully tried cases to verdict in construction defect and eminent domain matters. Ms. Park co-authored a revision to Chapter 13B, “The Taking of Contaminated Property by Eminent Domain,” of Nichols on Eminent Domain (Pub. 243/460) (Mar. 2002).
Ms. Park was born in Seoul, Korea and raised primarily on the West Coast. She attended the University of California at Davis, where she graduated with a B.A. in Psychology, before earning her J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law. During law school, Ms. Park served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Robert P. Aguilar (Ret.), Federal District Judge for the Northern District of California, an extern for the U.S. Attorney’s office for the Northern District of California, a full time law clerk for the Santa Clara D.A.’s office, an Associate Articles Editor for the Santa Clara Law Review, and co-authored, Focusing Title VII: The Supreme Court Continues The Battle Against Intention Discrimination in St. Mary’s Honor Center v. Hicks, 14 Hofstra Lab. L.J. 177 (Fall 1996).
