Maria Morse
Maria V. Morse, Esq., is an Associate in the Syracuse Office and practices in the areas of Family & Matrimonial Law and Education & School Law.
Maria has several years of experience representing parents and grandparents in Family Court cases in New York State regarding custody, visitation, and child support matters, adoptions, juvenile delinquency, family offense and domestic violence, as well as child abuse and neglect proceedings.
Similarly, Maria also represents parents and educators involved in Office of Children and Family Services investigations, as well as administrative appeals from indicated findings and reports.
Maria handles marital separation agreements, as well as both contested and uncontested divorce proceedings in New York State Supreme Court.
In addition to her work in Family Court and Supreme Court, Maria also handles an array of Education and School Law matters.
Maria received her bachelor’s degree, cum laude, in criminal justice and sociology, from Canisius College in Buffalo, NY, and her Juris Doctor from Quinnipiac University School of Law, magna cum laude, in Hamden, CT, where she was a member of the Moot Court Society; Mock Trial Honor Society; Student Bar Association, and Quinnipiac Law Softball Team. Ms. Morse then went on to earn her master’s degree (LLM) from Trinity College Dublin at The University of Dublin.
